Protocol: Orchiectomy

Introduction

Orchiectomy is the surgical removal of the testicles. In rodents, there are two surgical approaches in which the testes can be removed. In this AniLocus protocol, you will gain access to the surgical procedure, drug preparation for anesthesia and analgesics, post-operative care, required assessments for hormone deficiency in this animal model, and expected results.

If you want AniLocus to conduct preclinical studies to test your drug product or medical device in a hormone deficient animal model, contact us!
